and of course the close-up...
And the first spinning of the blend... please, let me know what you think!
You can barely see the grey in it now, and I added very little of the corriedale and mohair to it...I adore the luster it has though, and it is spinning into a very nice bumpy, noily worsted weight, which I really have to concentrate on.... I will say it is spinning up very quickly, and this one bit was shot after about a half hour of total spinning!
In other fiber news, my fair isle sweater is coming along beautifully with a newly placed collar, much wider steeks on the neckline after my last botched attempt, and the trunk is almost finished!!! Yay!!!! Pictures to follow!

Keep going with your blended batt Kristin - it's gorgeous!
BEAUTIFUL yarn! I love the colors, as well as the nubby, noily character. I haven't progressed to blending any fibers yet as I am still a new spinner. Bought a beautiful Clemes and Clemes drum carder from a friend but haven't used it yet. I'm afraid I'll need many more lifetimes to do all that I would like to do!
That spun up into some beautiful yarn. Cant wait to see it in a skein :)
That yarn is gorgeous! I love blending fibers and making something totally unique.
Enjoy.

I yarn turned out beautifully. I'm always amazed that the colors can be so different than the roving was. Your rolags looked more grey but the yarn has a beautiful rich blue color. Great job. :)
